Welcome to Olive class

         Olive Class Poem:

We are Olive class, we work hard all day,

We're not all the same, we each have our own way.

But we all have each other, how lucky we are,

each one of us is different, but each is a star!

Some love instruments and making noise,

some love to play with sensory toys,

some like to swim, some like to dance,

some like a tickle whenever there's a chance, 

some love massage or to relax for a while, 

but, most importantly we all like to smile.

Olive class are made up of 6 boys and 2 girls. We follow a mixture of both informal and semi-formal curriculum pathways.

There are 6 areas of the curriculum that we will be working towards this year which are, communcation, Independence, physical development, sensory and play, outdoor play and problem solving. Our goal is to further develop these skills to support us in the wider world. However, most importantly we will be having lots of fun that will help support our skills and wellbeing.  Activities will include, swimming, bikes, walks in the community and visits to local cafes.
