Welcome to Maple class 

Staff: Hilary, Pam, Lauren & Liz

Maple Class is a class of six amazing young boys & two equally amazing young girls aged from 3 to 11 years old. They all have their own individual characters, but all love to have fun & to spend time with each other. 

Our curriculum is sensory based around the needs of each individual including both 1:1 & small group activities. We also work alongside other professionals such as teachers of the hearing & visually impaired, occupational therapists, physiotherapists & a music therapist in order to ensure the individual needs of each child are met. 

We complete our physio routines each morning as well as Rebound & Hydrotherapy once a week. We love sensory stories and relaxing to a story massage as well as exploring curiosity boxes & taking part in musical play.

Pupils communication - in whatever way, is a huge priority & acknowledged as extremely valuable. We also recognise how important it is to allow pupils time to process activities & experiences. 

We all love coming to school & helping to make Maple class full of smiles, laughter & FUN!
