Sensory Sports Day!

The pupils & staff in PMLD had a great time during our sensory sports day. Unfortunately due to bas weather we had to do laps around the hall rather than the bike track outside, but we did not let that dampen our enthusiasm! Everyone took part in the different activities which ifocused on the different senses:

touch: feeling streamers over our arms, legs & face as we were pushed through a curtain of streamers. 

sound: playing the chimes & bells, then banging a drum & them playing the lovely deep chime bar

vision: spending time watching the disco lights under our dark tent

touch / vision: being sprayed with water & then sitting under the bubble machine & watching / feeling bubbles burst all around us.
