Continence & Toileting Workshop
We are delighted to let you know that on 6th July Fiona Boardman will be running a webinar on Zoom about continence & toileting issues.Fiona is Paediatric and Adult nurse, who ‘fell in’ to the poo and wee specialism 23 years ago, with a Special School Nurse role, which led her to challenge the number of children using nappies. She went on to further study and became a Specialist in the subject.
After 40 years in the NHS , she retired and now works for ERIC - a charity working hard to help families struggling with continence difficulties- as a Helpline advisor. She has taught ‘ toilet training for children with additional needs’ in the past and still teaches about bedwetting for the Sleep charity.
Fiona will spend some time giving an outline of continence, and what we need to make it work. Then she will take your questions about anything specific to the children you care for, difficulties with toilet training, sensory issues, withholding behaviours and effects of challenges in drinking and diet. day wetting, constipation, night wetting and school toileting difficulties. The workshop will be tailored to the participants, so this is an excellent opportunity to get the specialised help you need.click here Kind regards,
